Alright... I've been hard at work atempting to make cute printables. I want to use scribd to share them with you. So let's see if this works... fingers crossed!!! If it works, please enjoy this writing checklist!! =)

This may be a silly question, but will you post this in your classroom or give one to each child? I tried giving a checklist to each child last year. They put it in their writing folder. I hoped they would get in a habit of checking it when they completed a story, but they didn't. Is it a first grader thing? Maybe not developmentally appropriate? I don't know....
ReplyDeleteI am going to print a copy of this printable for each of my students to put in their writing notebooks.I'll probably laminate them. I will do a bunch of mini lessons to go with this printable and model model model how to use it. I think it could work for your kids as long as you're modeling it a lot. Maybe if you introduce it later on in the year, it would work better. =) Good luck!! -Jackie
